Hi, I'm Lazar
A photographer from Vienna, in Vienna. Glad you're here.
I'm Lazar Petkovic, a Viennese local and the founder of PETKO Photography. My day job is in IT; photography is my creative outlet and over the years it has become a big part of my life.
It all started in 2018 with a Canon 1300D that I bought just for fun. Curiosity turned into enthusiasm, and enthusiasm into passion. The Canon 5D Mark IV was the next big step, and a few months later I registered my photography business. Today the Canon R6 Mark II comes with me to every shoot.
What you can expect
We work together on equal terms, and you can ask me anything. I stay calm on set even when things get hectic, and you can see that in the pictures. From our first conversation to the final edit I pay attention to the details, in English, German or BCS.
What motivates me most is the moment you see your photos for the first time and a genuine smile appears. That's exactly why I do what I do.
